Word is Conner gave Larry the game ball after being run down like that.
Looked like a hippo running down a cheetah
Credit to the QB for keeping up as well
Troy Aikman, now the color guy on Monday Night Football. It comes full circle.
Insane. I agree with commentators
I remember seeing this game. This was a Monday night football game…
Al Michaels, Dan Dierdorf and Frank Gifford.
I'm not a football guy, but I just learned of his death and came to give my respects to him and possibly the best tackle I've ever seen. Rest easy, big guy.
That's a dangerous guy. RIP dude.
Dallas could have put Larry Allen at CB across from Deion Sanders .
Dallas could have put Larry Allen at CB across from Deion Sanders .
What they’ll never confess and admit is Allen ‘embarrassed’ the million dollar linebackers and corners, and the other teams receivers and runners🤷🏼
That was impressive
This still blows my mind.
I can't quit watching this. The greatest hustle play in NFL history. RIP big man.
Wow put that tackler in as fullback
they scored anyway
Dudes chasing down linebackers in the afterlife now. What a legend.
I saw this play (on replay) right after it happened when I was in prison. (I was a Correctional Officer in NC when I got out of the Army.) The game was on the TV in an open bay, and the entire cell block just erupted. I walked down the hall and saw the replay. I couldn't believe it. Inmates were saying, "Daaamn! Officer Boone, did you see that shit?!" 😂
Perfect angle and determination
Rip Larry😔
RIP LA, I remember this game, he chased him down like HE STOLE something, we were all like "wow, did you see that". we were more amazed about LA then the interception just like the announcers, RIP brotha
I watch this play every day. The commentators reactions are perfect.
73 needs to be retired.
Larry Allen probably smells food on nfl pepole
It's impossible to not watch this multiple times in a row. R.I.P. to the man, the myth, the legend Larry Allen
… I’ve watched football for 35 years, and this is still in my top five most amazing football moments list.
Never seen an offensive lineman run that clean or that fast, before or since. Probably never will again.
“Give me a break!”.. lol..
Saw memorials on ESPN for Mr. LA, and couldn't believe that this highlight wasn't included. RIP
325 lbs and runs like that, f*cking train! RIP Larry.
I’ve always remembered that play, showed he wanted his team to win!
Larry Allen was just different. Like a doggone grizzly bear. Rest in Christ big man. 🙏🏾
Damn- Bill Walton, Larry Allen & Jerry West....🌹🌹🌹😞
Bruh, the strongest man ever in the NFL runs you down
Go ahead cousin Larry! I miss you already!
Just imagine a pissed off Larry Allen running at u full speed.
Imagine a bear chasing you down! That was Larry Allen on that day! RIP
RIP CHAMP
Dude was supercharged.
RIP to the 🐐
The tackle was textbook 🫶🏾🐐Amazing RIP
The most impressive play I’ve ever seen. RIP, Larry.
R.I.P to one of the greats!!!
I'm old, jaded, and don't get as much out of sports as I used to...but this is one of the most unreal things I ever saw. To see that mountain of a man run that fast and that far to tackle that LB...supernatural.
I never get tired of watching this! RIP L.A.!
Wow!
Dan Dierdorf’s best call. Would’ve loved to hear John Madden call it
That will never get old.
Rip
Holy shit
Yeah but not as good as Leon lett
